The Dancing Net Skirt
Our workshop series to make our own net, for fishing, carrying, for our regalia, our hair, or just to hang on our wall to show our family and share the story, was a complete success! We could not have done this without the funding grant from the City of Santa Barbara’s Art & Culture department and the support from the amazing team at the Santa Barbara County Arts & Culture department!
We are so thankful to everyone who participated, supported and encouraged us along the way!

Seasonal Market
December 15, 2024 we hosted our First Indigenous Market! We had an amazing turnout of over 20 participants! Local ally organizations such as the Environmental Defense Center and Santa Barbara Channel Keepers showed up and let people know how they could help us protect our oceans and lands! Many local artisans showed up bringing their cultural art pieces as well as wonderfully tasty baked goods!
We are looking forward to our next market June 22, 2025!
